What form of GM's will help out my deads the most?

How bent should my knees be? Should I arch my back?

I know there are many variations to gm's, but which should I do for purely lower back strength?

Thanks.

Purely for your lower back or to help your deads? Deads are more than just lower back...

Seated GMs take your legs out of the equation and are quite easy to learn, relative to the other variations.

slight bend in my knees solid arch in my back with real focused movement. i feel this exercise has benefited my core strength and other lifts more than any other. i do them every week.:)

My legs hold up to the deads, it's my back that always gives out ...

If you are pulling conventional I would suggest you move your feet closer together and put your pinkies on the rings....we are about the same height and that works best for me....or if you feel stronger where you're at then stay there...just a suggestion

I'd just do it in whatever position lets you lift the most weight, but hey what do I know.
