what foods contain dextrose?

I ran out of dextrose today...and i won't receive my new batch till at least wednesday. What was the candy that people said contains dextrose? smarties or sweetarts?

need some type of dextrose in the meantime

lol i ended up going to the supermarket and looking for any candy that contained dextrose....

what did i find? pixie sticks!!!

i used 40 pixie sticks(75 grams of dextrose) with 2 scoops of Champion vanilla whey

tasted like liquified flinstones vitamins..it was good

Nonerz, its a high GI sugar. People use it as a fact acting carb in their shakes after a workout.

dunno about that....

main sugar in soda is HFC...and fructose is no good post workout.

JKurz, why not. Sure its junk food, and high GI processed carbs, but so are most post workout drinks. Dextrose IS junk food. Anywho, I don't jump the high doses of dextrose post-workout bandwagon myself. There are entirely too many diabetics in my family for me to play that game.
