You have a very good, solid foundation to build off of.
As far as a competition, anyone can compete... it's just an issue of success. I think it's a bit too early to tell... but with your frame, and thickness... I think it would be attainable.

An extra bit of overall development, and a good amount of time cutting up... I think you'd look great.
