Any sort of diet however I still carried all my meals w/ me every day, all day. You probably eat more cals than I do & that's where the protein shakes are nice. I like the shakes that dissolve in water, mix in a shaker (not a blender). I keep the shaker & dry ingredients measured out in a baggie and mix at work. Another approach is to add just enogh water to make a pudding type thing. This works when I get really fucking sick of the shakes.
Otherwise all my meats are already cooked (usually grilled) and I precut everything & throw it in baggies or tupperware depending on how much room I have in the cooler. Most of my carbs come from yams so I have those weighed out & in baggies or tupperware and just renuke at eating time. Or even cold. You'd be suprised what you can shovel down when it "fueling time" -- i.e. esp in competition prep, "taste" is not an issue - its simply time to refuel and convenience, speed and gettign it down are priority. I don't even put my cooler in the fridge - I keep it w/ 2 ice packs and w/ me at all times so I have it when I need it. No impact to the people aroudn me, no chance anyone will eat out of it (OMG!) and no chance I woudn't be able to fit it in the fridge if everyone else happened to fill it before I could get there.
thanks for the response sassy, yeah i usually do most of what you say except for the protein,
i am doing extremely low carbs for only a few weeks, jsut to jumpstart my diet, then going to the healthy carb and healthy fat diet, limiting to probably under 100g a day
i guess i'll just keep doing what i am doing then...
