About 45 mintues after I have plain, active cultures yogurt, a little honey and flax seed meal mixed in. Then, 1 hour after that I have protein and veggies.
yeah yeah yeah.........but for those of us who are dieting..pancakes are only but a dream The first thing I eat after a show is a big stack of pancakes...mmm mmmm now after a workout, i eat turkey breasts, or chicken and some good ol veggies and water.....
I lift in the garage and outdoors. It is very very hot here...so eating a lot of food is not always a good option. Keep the trash can handy during all sets I have to cool down a bit before I can eat anything after I lift.
11:30am- 1 cup yogurt, 1 glass 2% milk, 1 glass oj, 1 glass water
12:30- hit they gym
1:45- done in the gym, 1 glass of oj, 1 glass milk
3:00- mrp (66g prot), bananna (I am at work here)
Of course...I eat about 6 times after I lift...maybe 7.
The diet board has a sticky thread explaining the importance of Proper post workout meals and has theories and examples of a perfect post workout meal.
