Whats the ideal food before gym? Obviously your not going to eat too much and from what i gather you need to eat carbs before you go . . . . ???

bro, this will obviously depend on your goals, if you're taking anything pre-workout, etc

Can't go wrong with whey protein before / after...but the rest depends on your goals, the rest of your diet, etc

pre workout ill usually have a protein pancake. there was a study on i think the august men's health that said atheletes who consumed slow digesting carbs ran 8 minutes longer then atheletes who consumed fast digesting carbs. i suggest a cup of oatmeal or something along with a protein shake before workout.

Arginine, creatine, some aminos

A banana, raisins

I usually eat chicken with rice, garlic bread, carrots and brockly. I always wait two hours before I train to let the food digest and let my body break it into energy.
