What do you do if...

you can't finish your meals? Do you still keep the numbers the same? try to adjust it to what you actually ate? I am having a hard time with breakfast. I have GERD and mornings are horrible for eating. I can eat most of the cream of wheat and all of egg whites (my new fav. food) but I sometimes save the grapefruit for around 8:30am after I get to work. I eat my meal around 6:30am. Do I have to count the grapfruit as a seperate meal?
 
Do you feel you really NEED the grapefruit at 8:30? If not, omit it and add a little something extra in the following meals during the day. It should be easy to make up for. :)
 
I only record what I actually eat.....

Try to count all that you eat...even the samll tiny portions that you wouldn't think count
 
I do the same thing... record everything I eat. But sometimes like you either don't have much appetite in the morning or get busy so I'll just eat the rest of breakfast an hour or two later.
 
If I need to eat it, for example the grapefruit, I make it as juice.

or if I eat it later I calculate it as a separate meal
