Well - if its CD's you'd have to pick the length of the CD. If it was for a year for example the bank paying the highest yield (today 11/1) at 4.57 is Corus Bank in Chicago, IL - but thats with a minimum of 10000 invested. So I guess there are a whole lot of variables for that type of investment.
For a checking account rate I believe you have to drill down to your own City and State (if Traditional) and it will provide you that info. If looking for internet based interest bearing I think your options would be greater. Hmmm, not sure how to answer.
