what if i locked for a year 100k in a CD?

If you did 6 months and rolled it into another 6 months..you should make 6.5 to 8 percent.

Problem is, your deposit will be scrutinized due to the Patriot Act and the origin of deposit...

The Feds might want to know how Boogiewoogie got 100k to put into a bank in the first place... and might even Freeze the funds till you can prove you earned it honest work and the sweat of your ball sack, while paying the governemt their cut the whole time (taxes).

For a bunch of dough the toothfairy just left under your pillow and you never got around to paying taxes on: Antigua is your best option... http://www.taxhavenco.com/osm/taxhavens/Antigua.html
Don't worry about the interest, just worry about keeping the dough.

Some Turkey who's doing a gram of Primo has 100k to deposit?

Sirens would be going off.

Use Barclay's in London.

Swiss, Bahamas, Caymans all co-operate with the US now.

London banks do alot of business with Turkish companies. It's safe and they have good rates.
