What are some carb foods that should be consumed daily?

what are your goals for your diet?

typically low glycemic whole wheat stuff (ezekial bread, pasta, etc), oatmeal, veggies

stick with complex and simple carbs...fruit should be taken in in the morning if you are cutting..then veggies with you other meals and stay away from whites i.e white bread, wite rice, french fries lol etc....

There are many good carbs.

For GI, best carbs are:
- beans, eg kidney beans, hulled barley, yams. Behind but also good, are sweet potatoes, steel cuts oats, sweet peas, rye, ww pasta. Many fruits are low GI too (e.g., apples) but are not complex carbs (fructose etc)

For having no sugar: any grain, potatoes, although sweet potatoes and sweet peas have a fair bit of sugar.

For micro nutrient density: pumpkin (technically a starch despite being low cal), sweet peas are best, with beans, sweet potatoes probably next; then grains such as oats/barley, with rice/corn not being too nutrient dense.

For antioxidants: certain bean varieties (eg kidney), russet potaotes, apples, berries, plums are best.
