Generic MALE said:Seriously, my comment was not simply to amuse but educate and urge. Go and get your blood pressure taken , if you are the person you are concerned about. Its cheap, simple and accurate.
Symptoms like redness, swelling and nosebleeds can also occur with so many other problems they could not all be listed. I mean starting with nose picking, how many more causes of nosebleeds can we come up with?.....a hundred without pausing.
What anyone who thinks they have high blood pressure can do is go get your blood pressure taken.
Whatever you do... don't assume you have high blood pressure because of having something like facial redness and then do something as stupid as self prescribing yourself some blood pressure medicine you buy off the internet.

it's highest late morning/early afternoon, BUT, if you're trying to get a good feel for what your blood pressure is doing, it's very important to do two things when taking a measurement:
1) take it exactly the same way every time. that is to say, your body and arm should me in the exact same position each time you take it. this alone can cause great changes in readings if you don't. unless you're consistent with how you do it, you learn and monitor nothing. btw, the best way to take bp is sitting up (but leaning back on something) with the cuff as close to heart-level as possible and your elbow extended (arm pointing away from your body), but your arm should be resting on something (do not hold your arm up or out). and relax for a few minutes in the position you're going to take it before you take it.
2) take it at various times throughout the day, but again, try to be consistent.
hope this helps.

Taurus50 said:just had mine checked today like 30 minutes ago and it was high
had it checked 3 times, lowest reading being 157/78
I plan on having it checked once a day at the same time for the next week just to see if it remains this high.
If it does is there any OTC meds i can take or do i need something else?
I knew it was going to be high because of the Test and Dbol, but i didn't know how high.
