I'm going to the beach this Sunday and I want to be extra, fully hard and pumped and vascular. What are excellent sources of carbs for a 24 hour carb up phase?
How bout the fast, simplest carb source around. Pure Glucose, or rather Dextrose. If you can get your hands on some mix it with a little water and and about 200-400 mg ALA and you'll be set. If you can't find straight dextrose I would suggest gatorade powder. If you're intent on whole foods white potatos and white rice cakes are pretty high glycemic and are sure to fill you up.
However, you still should try to do some type of depletion workout before consuming those carb sources because it will help you fill out a bit more.
