What the cops did to him, if they did it, should have no bearing on his sentencing. It should only affect the disciplinary actions against them.

It's common in my home town for the local police to dispense with all the paper work and just chuck an offender in the back of the van where half a dozen officers will give them a good f**king kicking and then dump them on the street.
The swelling always makes an injury look worse. This guy in the picture looks like he got what was coming to him. How do you expect the officers to react when they get ahold of the guy who's just shot one of their partners?

Idea==Load up the cooler throw the grill in the back of the truck and head down to the local court house for some good ol tailgating and an old fashion hanging. Since we will all be there they might as well throw all those child molesting murderers up there and make a full day out of it.
