Damn.. that sucks!
I refuse to take BC... Years of trying and trying with no luck and then i'm a total bitch when I do take it. Not worth it... I now have an Copper T IUD.

i agree plus the pill made me gain weight not to mention pregnant...i got my iud last month...bleeding a lot but i also have not had a period since before i was preg...they say the iud is better it reduces the flow and such....i once was on depo my god i turned into a chunky one with that..took it for alomst 1 year then decided to not return for the shot....pills have different levels of hormones every cycle so i was a complete bitchFrisky said:

Wow - I used to have those types of periods when I was a teenager. Not total misery, but full-on discomfort and hard to explain why I just didn't want to be bothered or move around much because I only have brothers and my mom & I just never talked much about "that" stuff. I've been off the last few yrs for competition purposes (and lack of social life so I guess it wasn't all that big a deal 
...) but I had been on Trilevelin / Triphasal for 20 yrs and never had any weight issues that I could explicitly attribute to them. Its supposed to be one of the lowest dose pills available.
I did try to get back on this past fall, but I just kept forgetting to take the damn things. And when you screw that up its an even bigger pain in the ass trying to figure out which of the 2 breakthru's per month was the real one.

I don't usually gain weight from it which is good..I know the shot packs on the pounds so I refuse to get that lol....hey my questions is.....I started it a week later then I should have...I should have started it last sunday but had my period soI waited until yesteday...now I read I should have taken it last sunday even if I was bleeding....will this make a huge difference??
our ins covers both....i was suposed to get a tubal 48 hrs after delivery but i lost to much blood they wouldnt do it till i was 6 weeks postpardom and i figured i had recovered from a lot of pain why 6 weeks later would i want to be in more.so i got the iud.every day i mention how he should get it done........still refusesjenscats5 said:
