hey guys hows it going. i take a serving of weightgainer along with my regular whey protein. but i was wondering when is the best time to take the weightgainer drink. i work out usually late so is it ok to take it 2 hours before bed or should i take it during the day. i wa just wondering . thanks for the help guys.

I guess you're bulking....

You can take the weightgainer all day long

and take the whey + high GI carbs post workout

i was just worried about the amount of carbs before bed if it get stored as fat.

I would center more of it around right after your workout. Most weight gainers are loaded with sugar which I would not have close to bedtime. I would have low gi carbs and fats close to bed.

cool its garbage i was wondering that i dont thinkim going to take it i have only took it once i think im going to stick with the whey protein thanks guys.

not all are loaded with sugar. Met-RX gainer has low sugar and isn't 2500 calories a serving. Its 800 and when I took it I split it into servings.

If you're not opposed to spending a little $ on pre-made stuff. I got a case for like 40$ of this drink called Size Up 1000 made by Worldwide. It has 1000 cal (hence the name) 50 grams of protein and 190 grams of carbs with only 1g of sugar. I drank one post workout from Oct to January (along with a few other things) and went from 175 to 198 and stayed in the single digit BF% range. It's a fast easy way to get what you need post workout.
