Weighted Dips

New member
another tricep exercise that I love is weighted dips. I can go extremely heavy(120db) for about 6 reps. My only concern is that I'm not primarily hitting the tricep. What can I do to insure that my tricep is benefiting the most from this exercise? Lean more forward??

Leaning forward causes your chest muscles to become more involved. The more upright your posture, the more you work your tris.

Exactly. Stay perpendicular to the floor. Good way to make sure you do this is to look up like you would on a squat. Also, get a good range of motion. Go down so your upper arms are parallel to the floor on each rep. Squeeze the tri at the top of the excercise.
