weight training for boxers?

Hey guys. I just had my 1st boxing class today and it made me realise how much out of shape i am. The cardio training is intense and i dont think i could keep on doing heavy weight lifting during the season since i have classes up to 5 times a week. So i was wondering what kind of weight workout i could to maintain my strength without overtraining.

Any ideas are welcome

That workout sounds great, but if you want you can try these one Westside for Skinny Bastards A modified lifting program for "Hardgainers"

As with anything else you will get used to the cardio demands of boxing, i did kickboxing and san-shou btw which is physically more demanding than boxing due to the fact that throwing kicks and takedowns asks for more energy than just punches, not wanting to take away any credit from boxing though, that's really hard but you will get used to it.
