Weight loss tips?

Hi,
Latley I've been trying to eat a little better than I usually do, hopfully this will make a difference. I was wondering if anyone has any good tips that would help me to lose some weight. I opened to any suggestions.

Dear Roger,

Try, adding 1tbsp. of flaxseed oil 3 times a day. Flaxseed oil is a very good source of Omega-3, plus, it's a great EFA (essential-fatty-acid). Here are some more examples of EFA's:
flaxseed oil, sesamese seed oil, sunflowerseed oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil, peanut oil

Also, don't keep your carbs too high. In fact, try to consume mostly LOW-GI carbs:
Low-GI carbs: oatmeal, brown-rice, yams, beans, sweet-potato

Eat lean proteins:
Lean Proteins...try to at least get a serving of each type of protein...milk,casein,whey,soy,egg

i think the advice given by Mr. X is great...your exercise program should also consist of compound movements like bench press, squats etc to burn xtra calories. this will help you keep the muscle you have while losing fat and hopefully you can add a little more...the more muscle you have the more calories your burn just sitting around!! also cut your calories just a little below what is required to maintain your weight but dont cut to much you will lose fat but you will lose muscle to!!
