I hope you are not saying these people were poor because our government failed them. It is not the governments role to control poverty. Poverty is a social condition, and can be prevented through motivation, not through a handout.

#1 You're confusing desperation with normal reality. No - a lot of the stuff that went on there was WRONG - but the MAJORITY of people were just wanting to live, to eat, to get water, and to get the hell out of there. There's a big difference. #2 - I never said that in the way that you're wording it. #3 - I never said that he was Adolph Hitler. #4 - Refer to #1
