If you are over consuming calories (in mass quantities), your body is probably trying to discard the extra energy and/or blood glucose by urination. Your body dehydrates itself in the process to flush out the excess via your kidneys. So drink plenty of water to replenish. Recommend checking your blood sugars too when experiencing this. If the sugar level is > 140, then this is a problem and see your doctor (as soon as possible recommend immediately). Urinating multiple times a night usually means that your blood sugars may be too high for too long. Normal blood sugar range is typically 80 to 120. FYI, most drugstores almost give away blood sugar meters (and have rebates to get it to 0 cost).... No excuse to not check this during these times.
