New member

Bump for Muskles.....curious to reread it myself :D

Someone might be able to make some cash, by being hired by Elite to do searches for everyone :fro:

Quick work !! I recommend SteelWeaver for the job George Spellwin :D ( He's got all the cake :) )

Heh heh - I can't think of anything that would please me more than roving these boards all day! (Oh, except maybe ... sex, leg day, riding a Harely across America, and maybe, just possibly, having a very small piece of MS's brain transplanted into mine ...!!! Yeoow!!!:D :D :D :D I don't have time to learn all this stuff! )

Pity I don't eat cake - hard cash'll do. Doh!

W6's Leg routine

To respond to the first question about w6's leg routine (if you have not located it on the boards yet) here it is.. and believe me being one of his clients, it is the most uncomfortable situation I've ever been in.. but I LOVE IT!!

3 sets of Squats (heavy) 8-10
3 sets of Leg extenstions (Last set is a drop set)

Presses: (he has 2 diffent routines for presses)

A). 25 straight reps (rest 30 seconds)
15 reps (rest 30 seconds)
10 reps (rest 30 seconds)
Then move onto Hacksquats 2 sets of 8-10 reps

B.) Warm up set
25 straight reps (presses)
then go straight to hacksquats 25 straight reps

only rest 30 seconds between presses and hack's

Finally

3 sets of leg curls 8-10 reps (last set is a drop set)

W6.. please feel free to correct me if something is not right.

yikes!

those are all the exercises that i did this week, but the sequence is different. i haven't been able to do cardio since my leg day (2 days ago) because i can barely walk... can't wait to put myself in a wheelchair with this one next week ;)

Yeah, its a crazy routine. But it works.
I'm not sure what you do on a weekly basis.. but we go heavy every other week (this allows the muscles to grow). So at least we only have to go through the torture 2 a month.

Benz - do you pyrimad up in weights on those sets? Is the diifference heavy and light a matter of much harder you push yourself?

close enough Benz. We usually do 2 working sets of squats and 20 sec breaks on the set of 50 presses, but what you described will work fine.

That is a heavy day. Light day the weights are cut by about 20-25% and perform 2 sets of 8-10 on leg presses and hacks. Not 50 reps. You should be through the leg/ham part in 30 min on light days, 45 min on heavy days.

muskles

Yes, light-heavy. Whether on or not. Still need the recovery time.

W6

THANX :D

can't wait to give it a try and feel the pain.. OR.. maybe i'll even vomit and join the ranks of the tried and true :D

Didn't do a search; I just remembered you saying that his b'day was 2 days before my son's.

No search, then good memory :) I guess your little boy is excited for his bday tomorrow. Happy Early Bday to him :bday:

Can I push my luck and ask what back, chest, bi & tri (arms) looks like??

W6 - in the link to the thread to the leg workout, you mentioned a workout schedule from a client a few years ago --- could I put in a request for a copy of that??

Many thanks oh great & illustrious one! :) (where should I send my check?)

Er, well, er, no, actually - that's not all, but when I started listing them, I realised it was going to take me all day and fill up a lot of space here, so I decided to truncate the list.

KB - you KNOW that's not all ... :D

MUCH better! carry on....:)

Got a copy of that attachment. It will be up to W6 if he wants me to post or email out. I for one, have not been brave enough to attempt it....maybe next year? Should we all try and post before and afters? Then we can nominate him for one of those trainer of the year awards! BTW, W6 I tried to pm you something you might be interested in but it wouldn't let me? :( You might have seen it anyway.
