It's reasonable enough to say that a prospective couple having prior knowledge of whether they are compatible both physically and emotionally would be a good decision making factor and foundation on which to start building a relationship. Why would anyone choose to gamble with lifetime commitment on the whim of romantic sentiment?

Well, I guess I'm the weirdo! Didn't wait on the kissing, but no hands under the clothes or clothes off or anything else until after the 'ring thing'. Great way to live - after all, if he can keep his hands off you and vice versa until you're married, it's a pretty good indication of self-control in the physical areas of life. I fit works out for you, that's great. But what if your sexual appetites were different. Say your sex drive is great, & his isn't. Sex isn't everything in a relationship, but it is key, & if there is no compatibility, better to find out before the ring, than after, IMO.
