No disrespect intended VooDoo Lady, but just because people, ESPECIALLY UNARMED CHILDREN, refuse to give up does not let law enforcement violate the US Constiution, let alone PURPOSELY and METHODICALLY start an inferno with the sole purpose of arresting the Davidians---or else they will be penalized by enduring a fiery death. God Almighty, prisoners of war in Iraq weren't even killed, let alone brutally and cruelly killed like the AMERICAN CITIZENS/CHILDREN at Waco. So why is it that the federal government says it's okay to kill Americans who raise arms against the federal government, but cruel, torturous and Nazi-like Iraqi Republican Guard troops who fired upon the U.S. Army in Gulf War II were allowed to live? Once again, more American hypocrisy....maybe I should answer my own question.....I think the US federal government wanted to send a strong message against Libertarian-minded Americans like the ones at Ruby Ridge, Waco, militias, etc. not to EVEN THINK of rising against the federal government in any way.

The branch loonies were also tipped off to the fact that the FEDS were coming to get them.

If I recall, there was a postal worker who was sympathetic to the davidians who got wind of the raid and tipped them off.

Instead of telling the rest of us how we don't know something... why don't you tell us how you do. Please tell us all EXACTLY how our government ran in there and this cold hearted butchered these innocent people. I mean, they were innocent right.

Was the possession of incriminating knowledge of Government action by Branch Davidian members the primary justification for the possible unlawfull armed Government assault of the Davidian compound? ( i say possible, because i havent gone through all the relevant info and cant say categorically, from my perspective, Government action was unlawfull)
