Four weeks ago I couldn't do the thing for even 4 minutes at level 4. Today I did it again, after not using it for 4 weeks, and I could only do 17 mins. at level 4. My legs were killing me after 9 minutes.
My goal is to be able to do it at least at level 4 for 30 minutes.
No, the rotating stairs are the StepMill or Gauntlet. And they kick ass! Great way to do HIIT. That is actually my favorite cardio machine.
The VersaClimber mimics rock climbing. Imagine climbing a wall like Spiderman - that is the motion you do. It is REALLY hard if done correctly. Not many new gyms have them anymore.
Synpax, you might be suprised on the heartrate / work effort on it. I know you are in superior cardiovascular shape, but the VersaClimber really is unique and very challenging. I'm not saying you would find it defiantely find it challenging enough for you, but might be worth a shot one day.
