I saw them on Wednesday here in Philly and it was fuckin awesome. I'm more of a fan of the Diamond Dave era, but I'm a true VH fan and I was still glad to go see them with Sammy.

The crowd was going nuts and the band gave 2 encores. Everyone in the band got their own little solo spot, it was great. The guys were all full of energy and put on an amazing show. Michael Anthony got to sing a lot, especially on some DLR songs, he did a bang up job, hitting all the high notes and shit. Him and Sammy would switch off a lot and they nailed the harmonies.

They didn't just play Van Hagar era stuff either, they played a ton of DLR era stuff, somewhere near half of the show was classic VH. They even played Humans Being which was awesome.

The sad thing was that Eddie and Alex looked like they were dead. Alex especially, but then again he never looked good. Eddie's gotta kick the smoking habit.
