Upright Rows?

Medial deltoid is the prime mover, the traps are amongst many muscles that act as synergists and stabilisers...

I don't recommend doing them every shoulder workout since they might injure you shoulders. Keep in mind though that I haven't found any information proves whether upright rows are dangerous or not.

If anyone has some info for me it would be appreciated.

Do upright rows work more of the shoulders or the traps?

Depends on the grip.

Wide grip works more medial delt while a close grip primarily hits the traps to a greater extent.

why do upright rows, if u use a decent amount of weight it puts more pressure on the inside of ur shoulder and will eventually create an impingment , its not worth it. if u want big traps give farmers walks, deadlifts, or cleans a try
