Because every so often I actually enjoy a good argument, my husband, however, does not. Additionally, this forum allows the use of vulgarity and some direct insults, which virtually none do anymore, this is particularly the case with a lot of the "headier" forums.

And, incidentally, if someone makes a valid point that contradicts me, while I may (or may not) acknowledge it here, I will think about about it and take it into consideration in my day to day life. I've actually learned a lot about people hanging out in this forum.

Agreed that one needs to be sexually satisfied to be and continue to be happy in a relationship, but if there's no deeper mental/emotional connection then the sex becomes just sex, that which a man or woman could get from any freak on the street. The sex you can't just get from anybody is the kind you have with someone you're more deeply connected to than just via your sexual organs.

To keep the sex the type of sex that you can't go leave the relationship and get from someone else, it kind of does need to be a bffl kind of connection and trust. Otherwise, what's to stop either party from getting the same sex from someone else?

That being said, both parties to def need to keep the sex hot to make the relationship last, it's just not the only thing that matters, IMO.
