I know two folks who have seen it and they liked it. Weren't blown away, but said it was almost up to par with Aliens as a good action flick.

They tend to be very critical too. Well see.

It's just as soon as I saw him (M. Ironside) I was reminded of the cheesy live action scenes from the Command & Conquer games.

It just instantly reminded me of that and I wondered why they cast him, because now I'm just going to be reminded of C&C instead of how badass the new Terminator movie could be.

Maybe I'm being overly critical.

Heh, yea I think you are. He plays the role. He did C&C and Starship Troopers which got type cast a bit.

He looks like a military commander (or could see him as some criminal mastermind) if I ever seen one.

I have to disagree with you here slightly. Yeah, it wasn't even comparable to the first two......."HOWEVER", the first 20 or so minutes of T3 are sublime. Culminating in "Look what you did my car asshole, that's a company ride!!" When that dude got out of the car clutching his back and saying that, me and my friends LOST OUR SHIT!! Of course nobody else in the theater thought it was funny, but me and my friends almost had to get up and leave cause that whole chase scene with the crane truck going end over end, Arnold taking out the shopping cart full of aluminum cans the bum was collecting, Arnold asking the fireman to exit the vehicle.......and than to top that all of, the dude who got SMASHED in the back by Connor's truck. It was one of the most comedic 20 minute's in cinematic history. After that, yeah, it was kind of downhill..........but Arnold explaining "Levity" to the two kids was priceless. It wasn't that bad, but not nearly as good as it should have been.
