He looked like he didn't even train for the jab. Everyone knew that Lewis' jab was gonna decide the fight and Tyson didn't do shit about it. Very disappointed with his performance

Tyson did get in some powerful shots, he just didnt prepare for the jab right. The first round was clearly Tyson's, but after that he wasnt as aggressive. I think Tyson's corner did a horrible job of motivating Tyson and the jabs were definitely affecting Tyson's vision. Not sure if they both had rematch clauses or not. I know Lewis probably had one. I think Evander gets to fight Lennox next, Tyson probably drops down to 2nd or 3rd contender. Give him 3-4 fights and a rematch and he could probably be champ again.

This was the lamest Tyson performance I have ever seen. I am very disapointed. I don't think Tyson was himself in this fight. It was either the downers he is on or he threw the fight cause he didn't do SH%$ in the ring.

Well as much as I hate Lewis...I knew he was going to win. Tyson is simply too short to get inside. When he was younger he would have most likely destroyed Lewis, he was much faster and aggressive then. But like Ultra said, he was befinitely on his meds, waaayyyyyyy too nice last night. I really feel for Mike though, his life is such a sad story. A lot of people fail to realize the man is bi-polar. That's how people with this condition are, they're either extremely nice or extremely aggressive and most of the time violent.

Face the facts, Tyson is still 49-4 (2 KO losses-Douglas, Lewis, 1 TKO loss-Holyfield, 1 DQ loss-Holyfield)

An Ali-Tyson fight would have never made it past the press conference b/c Tyson would kill anyone that talked that much shit. And he would have deserved it too. A prime Tyson vs. prime Foreman would have been badass to see. Still, Tyson trains like a monster and without drugs would have been aggressive more than just round 1. He took a ton of shots and didnt go down. Even Lennox Lewis was shitting about that. If you watch the fight, Lennox was scared as fuck the first round, JUMPING back and holding like a bitch. First off! I'd like to say I am VERY dis-apointed with that fight...I'll admit, I had some bets going on last night and lost sojme good $$ but o well...Tyson was not himself, plain and simple. No credit taken from Lewis, He faught a good fight but Tyson was no where close to his best. And for all of you talking shit on Tyson LMAO!!! U can say it behind a screen but if you were face to face with the man, ya'll would shit ur pants, Just keep that in mind

Last night you saw a true boxer in LLewis slowly dismantly a man round by round. Each jab was like tinny razor cuts slowly causeing TYSON to blead to death. In the end TYSON was nothing and he has been nothing for a long time. Dont fall into the hype. He was not druged or crazie or any other theorys that loyalist bring up to keep the TYSON mystic alive. Bottom line is TYSON is another example of a lazy athlete who wasted talent, hes a bum collecting a pay check.
Now Lewis, theres a champion, top 10 of all time easy.

lewis didnt want to fight tyson off medication not because he was afraid of losing, maybe he was just afraid of getting his fucking limbs bitten off by a phsycotic human being. theres a reason why tyson was turned down by a few places before memphis and maybe thats the same reason lewis didnt want to fight him off medication. lewis's reach is so much further than tysons that all he has to do is jab and tyson cannot get inside.. he had no chance from the start. but you think tyson is fazed? he just made 20 million $$ he dosnt give a fuck about losing.

He is nothing more than a side show, he might as well be a juggling, sword swallowing mule. It wasn't the drugs, Tyson has never really had any boxing skills & Lewis wasn't going to let him inside to do his lucky one punch that so many times won fights for him. He tasted Lewis power & didn't want anything to do with it. Hell he was ready to quit in the 6th! For those who refuse to give Lewis is props, you can say what you want but, the man has proven himself again & again. Think about it, he has beaten every single man he's ever fought! He's fought everyone that has wanted to fight, there's nobody in the heavyweight division at this point worth fighting for him. He's 36yrs old & still developing new skills. Lewis is just an absolute genius boxer, he is a true champion and a spcialist in his sport, he knows how to defeat everyone, tall short, puncher or boxer, he adapts to any style and exploits weaknesses, and he uses his height extremely well.
Tyson, just fought Lewis too soon, and he did it for the cash, I mean lets face it, I'd let Lewis or tyson punch me in the groin repeatedly for 17 million bucks. I don't recall Douglas, Lewis, Holyfield or any of the others having to defeat three champions to unite the crown. To be "undisputed" they only have to beat one now...Tyson already did the dirty work years ago......
Oh yeah, I did hear that the deal for this fight was a 2 fight deal. Guaranteed rematch. Didn't hear it myself, so I can't confirm it. Could be just a rumour....

The bottom line is this. If anyone says Tyson is washed up, they should spend 2-4 months training, then try to step in the ring with him. After 30-120 seconds, when they were knocked out, they'd be singing a different tune.
He's STILL one of the hardest (if not the hardest) punchers in boxing. If you get a chance to watch a tape of the fight, watch the entire first round. Lewis was SO scared. If Mike had fought like that the entire fight, he would have won with EASE.
Best believe if there is a rematch, Tyson will come in at even better shape and probably cause some major pain to Lewis.
Tyson needs a Kevin Rooney to train him again. He also needs to get rid of all of those punk buddies that follow him around and spend all of his money. Tyson looked terrible in the fight. The guy's a friggin circus show who hasn't beaten a formidable opponent in years. Saw re-run of fight on HBO last night. They interviewed Tyson after the fight and he said he didn't think he could beat Lewis. Can you believe that? Also, the contract calls for an automatic rematch if Tyson wins. But since Lewis won it says that Lewis can fight one time before taking a rematch with Tyson. So, Lewis will fight Chris Byrd next and then if he and Tyson want to fight again, they can. BamBam

Tyson needs to fight some more people before even thinking about fighting Lewis again. I still think the talent is still in Mike but he needs some more quality experience in the ring to get back to anywhere near he used to be. I wonder if he will be required to be on his meds again
