Two Americas: Spenders and Savers/Investors

Yeah, in order to defend an institution you obviously have to be a member of it in the first place. Are you absolutely sure you are a lawyer?

And yeah, your type tends to run together in my mind too -- so no worries there either.
Try to deflect all you want. You were giving AAP crap about being gay and how it was not "Christian." So, your hyposcrisy speaks for itself. Either you were haranguing him about an belief system that you don't even believe in or you are only "Christian" when it is expedient to you.

Otherwise, you are still an uncharitable misanthrope with an overinflated ego -- Christian, or not.

On the thread you are referring to, I explicitly state early-on that I'm not a Christian. How hard can that be for you to understand? Is that "deflection"? Look, I can't help it if you can't read but it's right there in the thread.

Since you are a high-powered lawyer you could understand the concept of defending something you didn't necessarily participate in yourself. Does that mean you'd have to kill somebody before you could defened an accused murderer?

Are you reaaaaaaaally sure you are a lawyer in the first place? I remember having this conversation with you 1+ year ago and being assured of all these wonderful opportunities and obscene earnings that are coming your way. Maybe we should do a before and after comparison of how all that's going for you.

It is going perfectly well for me. I earn enough to care for me and my son, and we have a very happy life together. Now that that matter is cleared up for you, please try to argue a salient issue rather than deflecting.

Speaking of my job, I have to get to back to work. I have little time to debate with someone who can't even stick to the issue at hand, which is the state of our trashed economy under the Bush regime.

You resort to personal attacks that are so far off base to be laughable and hyperbole, lies and exagerations. You really should study up some. Your skills at debate don't match your huge ego.

Outstanding!

Know what's wierd tho? Every high-end lawyer I know bills on hours. How do you bill on hours when you spend every waking moment on a steriods chat board? Or are you billing your clients for this time? Maybe IF should pay you $375/hour for your participation here...

I don't bill on hours, for the most part. Only certain matters convert to hourly.

I guess I stay on here the same way you do. Aren't you a self-proclaimed millionaire?

Yup -- and 100% of my income is passive atm.

Doing a little bit in fuel ethanol though, but with the price of corn and the short-term credit crunch it doesn't make sense to tee-up more plants right now. You can tell when I'm professionally busy because I get stuck on conference calls and when they get boring I cruise by EF and mess around on the side.

So back to you... You're not billing on hours... sounds like one of those lawyer-in-a-box places where you can get a will done for $99 and a divorce for $199. Cool!

I'm a good saver, and great at living below my means. Haven't learned much about investing, except most firearms go up in value (unfired ammo even more so), and I have a 401K.

Nope. Guess again. I don't do wills or divorces, not that there is anything wrong with doing wills and divorces. I used to make a good living doing wills, divorces, bankruptcies and criminal defense. That is bread and butter. I only deal with businesses as clients and we do transactional work. LOL at you attacking me for being a lawyer. Yeah, I should be so ashamed.
