I AM one of the savers, and I don't smoke, eat doritos or play the lottery. Nor am I saying that the rich are to blame.

However, to say that all the poor are poor because they don't save is so simplified as to be idiotic. Yes, no one gets rich by spending all they make. However, if you make $18,000 a year, as many Americans do, you aren't going to get rich by saving.

We need a goverment program to give those $18,000 a year earners another $100,000 in subsidies. If the goverment could just do more to give people the cash they need we'd all be set!

I'm sure it does too. If these mean-spirited rich could just do more. Perhaps pay their fair share to create a better tomorrow for all.

We need to start educating our children in gradeschool too so they can be enlightened and understand why they should work a little harder and pay a little more so others can enjoy their standard of living too.
