Twenty 47 - Acient Strength Log -

went easy on squats today because my lifting partner wanted to do heavy deads after.

went like this.

warm up with 225

315x 8
365x 6
405x 4
455x 2

nothing to brag about i wanted to go much heavier. next leg day on acient strength should be a good one because i will be ready to go.

so just got back from my first workout on the stuff. took 2 pills instead of the dose of 3 just to get my body used to mono again i guess. i havent had any creatine monohydrate in me in like 4 years.

down a bunch of water and the two pills 30 mins before and hit the gym for a back day and some chest.

first thing i noticed is that i was more vascular then normal. i didnt expect this from the mono. or from how much water i took in.

all in all i felt good the whole time. moved some good ass weight and still feel good. did like 3 sets of 10 on the hammer strength row of 4 plates. one arm at a time. maxed out the seated row cable machine for like 8 reps. got some good weight on the lat pulldown. someone was on the one i usually use so i had to use a different one that didnt go very heavy. got like 10 reps with the whole stack. the one i usually use goes way heavier.

got 4 reps for db bench press with 115's on my last set. i cant compare this to anything because i havent done db bench press in FOREVER.

all in all it was a good day.
 
so i did ass to ground squats today. havent gone super low in a while.

385 x10
405 x6
455 x 3 ( was one of the hardest sets i have ever completed lol) was so heavy my ass almost touched my ankles.

then we did power cleans and deads. nothing super heavy.

overall i feel better in the gym. dont feel so drained after. rest time seems better.
