Turning On A Rec Dealer

ANOINTED

New member
i have always been told if u get busted for AAS and u knw a rec dealer(coke, x, weed) that u will be able to strike a deal..

any truth to this????

sounds like my first post diseapred. SO yes, in Canada it's possible. In fact, for most crimes this possibility will exist as long as you have valuable info, on someone important (not just a little 18 yr old punk) and aren't a notorious liar. If all is met, they might offer you a bargain. But it's case by case. Depends on the prosecutor.

Most steroid dealers are busted because Cops know they have informatiopn and are more likely to Rat other people out. For the most part, AS dealers are not hardened thugs.

A rat is a rat for any reason....

Is it really worth reducing the (likely) mild sentence you'd get on a juice conviction, considering that you'd now have someone out there wanting to do you grievous harm? Even if the guy you rat out is a punk, think for a minute: who's he getting the coke from? The guys he gets the goods from most likely have enforcers in their ranks, and they'll be glad to extract revenge on your patsy's behalf since he took the fall and didn't rat THEM out.

Hitman, police will never really help a Rat, why in the world would they care?

Unless it's a high profile case where the witness needs to be protected, they don't give a shit, and why would they?

You're WAY wrong. It happens everyday man. I find it annoying when people like you make such bold statements, that are 100% inaccurate. Goes to show you how much post-count equates to knowledge. If Cops persuade a person to roll in the hope of nabbing someone bigger or better, then DIDN'T help the person who gave them that info, then NOONE would EVER give any info!!! The whole reason people do give info, is because they KNOW it WILL get them a lighter ride in the end. Bottom line: every part of your statement is WRONG!!!

Laplaine Jail (near Montréal) is fll of rats, and they're all complaining about how the govt. didn't respect their contract. One of them died few months ago in Alberta. He had to remain in the "hole" 24/7 other wise he could be killed. The minute he left the hole, guess what....

as said above it is case by case, cop by cop- cop most important of all

i personally think its everyones responsibility to rat on drug dealers (those that deal addictive drugs, not AS) since they RUIN a lot of lives.

when you see junkies and what some of them go through and do to essentially keep dealers rich, you wont care about the dealer at all

so yeah rat away, dont feel bad or be macho about taking your medicine- burn them all

thats just imo btw

Sorry. Not Canadian.

i have seen people get messed up for ratting out someone.....
not a pretty sight

Were you one of them? Im going by your spelling. Figured you must be pretty "messed up". At least add an "o" to the end of your name so it makes some damn sense goofball.

No cop is authorized to strike a deal, only the prosecutor. If a deal is to be struck it should be between the defence lawyer and the prosecutor. That way all angles are covered

Anyone who strikes a deal without a defence council present is a fool and left open to all kinds of judicial bs.

Name-calling. Last resort, when one has nothing left intelligent to argue I guess.. I know cops who work Narco, and they say that snitches account for 95% of all their cases. Why would anyone bother giving up info, if it wasn't going to help them in the long run? That makes no sense. Maybe things are different up north, but that is the way it works here. I don't agree with any of it, but that, unfortunately, is how the boat floats here in the USA.

I have cop friends and they also say snitches is how people get busted.
Also, legal muscle says the same thing. I don't know in juice cases if there are much rats.

Fine beleive what you want.

My opinion from what I have seen and people I know, Cops do there best to get a snitch to talk but they will help them only if they need them.

and once the box is empty then we just dont care about it anymore...

Cops have NO AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER to help a rat.

NONE.

NEITHER do prosecutors! ONLY the judge has the authority to sentence. The judge need not even accept a plea bargain hashed out by defense and prosecution. He can decide to accept your guilty plea then sentence you to the maximum.

Now, this happening is exceedingly rare, because to do it often would undercut completely the plea process, but it does happen.

Unless the prosecution reduces your charge, I would be wary of a bargain. Charge reduction reduces your maximum penalty. So, you should plead to a lesser offense always.

The bottom line is NEVER trust a cop. Cops are out and out fucking scumbag liars. They want rats for probable cause affidavits. They don't want them as witnesses unless they absolutely freakin need them because snitches are only lying when their mouths are moving, like cops.
