Trying to put on mass

Hi girl!!
I 've been training for years now and 2 years seriously . I find it hard to put on some lean mass!
i'm mesomorph type!
Stupid question: Would bcaa help or should I consider AA or some test??
I'm 32 !
I'm strongh but I don't look like it!
I use a pyramidal training! 12,10,8,6,12!! And I stick to basics exercices

Hello fellow Meso! Just keep chipping away at it. Get some good protein and lots of it. Eat all the protein you can stand. What are your current stats?

Hey sugar, you think all that work for one movement is a good idea? Some of the more experienced girls around here will chime in, I am sure, but you might want to consider a LOT less abuse to a single muscle group if mass is your goal. What is your current diet regimen like?

Hey Sans

I agree with Miss Scarlett that's alot of work for 1 muscle.

You need to give us more info on your training, like what are the exercises you are doing? How any sets? What does your split look like? How much cardio if any are you doing? When are you doing it?

Also tell us what your diet looks like, in detail, everything you eat in a day, how much, and when? Also what supplements are you currently taking?

I know what you're doing thru, girl! I used to be ecto/mesomorph for a long time...but then I morphed into a little pudge tummy & ghetto booty! :lmao: Well, that was due to not being able to workout for almost a year from a car accident, and my boyfriend at the time never wanted to cook...so we would always dine out...bad combo!! :worried:

Do you do any cardio? I wouldn't do much, if any....mainly just to keep up your stamina/health. Simply put: eat lots of protein (first & foremost) & carbs...and lift heavy. Perhaps a 40/40/20 diet. But don't start eating anything under the sun (unhealthy, thinking it won't matter).

Of course, the ladies who have been at this longer could tell you for sure.... ;)

thinking about what they've said above on the "a lot of work on one muscle".....if you're doing this on the smaller muscle groups like bi's and tri's, I wouldn't do that. If you're talking legs or back, I don't see a problem with it. Definitely, post your stats, diet and training.

It would depend on how any other exercises she is doing for legs and if her set range was the same for everything! And with the way she is doing it, she probably isn't going heavy enough, she needs to go very heavy to gain.

thanks for the reply you guys rock!!

Hum let's see:
I train 3 times a week
Legs: Squat, legs press (strat at 130 finish at 200 pound= 90 kg)
Legs extension
Back is good morning
rowing
one arm rowing
Triceps : Tri extension
Biceps: curl with barre and with dumbells
I don't do chest because I have implants!

My diet:I don't like meat so I stay away from it! :worried:
Bfst: WW bread with jam!
Whey
Lunch: one pastry
Dinner: Tuna (or eggs), Boiled potato, veggies (lots of it)

I know it does not all seem much but I try NOT to gain fat!! Only muscle!

OMG where to start ok training. You can work chest with implants who ever told you couldn't was an idiot. Also see that your not working shoulders why not? Your leg workout looks not bad but my suggestion is to change things up your body adapts very fast. I am in the progress of coming up with a split for myself where every week is diffrent. I know a ton of people that swear by it. When I was power lfting I would never do that cause all I cared about was strength. Now alll I car about is how I look in the mirror.
Your diet is an absolute train wreck drop anything and everything with white flour in it. Also not getting anywhere near enough protien. You want to put on muscle you need to eat at least 6 times a day 1 serving protien and serving clean carbs ie yams, oats, brown rice. Please see the link at the top of the board for diet outlines. You also never posted your stats hieght weight body fat. That info is needed.
