ireekofawesomeness

Big Bro
Platinum
MEAL 1 - 6 OMEGA 3 EGGS, 4 ADDITIONAL WHITES
MEAL 2 - 60 GRAMS OPTIMUM NUTRITION WHEY, 42 ALMONDS
MEAL 3 - 10 OZ CHICKEN, GREEN SALAD, 2 TBSP FLAXSEED OIL
MEAL 4 - 60 GRAMS OPTIMUM NUTRITION WHEY, 3 TBSP ALL NATURAL PB
MEAL 5 - 12 OZ 90% LEAN GROUND BEEF, GREEN SALAD, GREEN VEGGIES
MEAL 6 - 6 OMEGA 3 EGGS, 4 ADDITIONAL WHITES

EVERY 7th DAY I GET A CHEAT MEAL, EAT WHATEVER I WANT UP TO 500 GRAMS OF CARBS IN THE ONE MEAL TO SPIKE INSULIN, KEEP BODY CONVERTING T4 TO T3, REPLENISH GLYCOGEN, ETC

30 MIN LOW INTENSITY CARDIO EVERY MORNING

FOR THOSE OF YOU FAMILIAR WITH HIS DIET I ADJUSTED THE PORTIONS SLIGHTLY BC HIS ORIGINAL DIET IS FOR A 200 POUND MALE AND I AM ABOUT 248 POUNDS WITH BF PROBABLY 15-17%

A 500 gram carb cheat meal is absurd. That is equal to your entire ability to store the carbs. Assuming you are ketogenic at the time of the cheat meal, this cheat meal only works if every carb eaten is stored in the muscles. I query given the insulin release whether this would be so, and I note that when marathon runners carb load, they do this over a series of meals, not one. Perhaps spread the 500 grams of carbs evenly over the day.

I'm sure this will work, but why would you want to do it? You will be hungry on this diet, because there is so little bulky foods, except for meal 3 and 5. I see no reason not to include green veggies with all meals but PWO. Plus the farting with all those eggs will be horrendus.

Where is the PWO meal? (all meals here contain fat).

Also, I think the overreliance on whey is counterproductive - the body will burn more calories with actual lean protein through thermic digestion, i.e., e.g., light tuna or chicken breast - than whey.

Plus, monitor your cholestoral on this diet (12 eggs obviously contains significant cholestoral, which may or may not be offset by the omega 3's)

Is it even possible to consume 500grams of carbs in one meal? I think my stomach would explode..

But, yea, I definitely would not recommend eating that much carbs in one sitting..there are definitely better ways of spiking insuling and replenishing glycogen stores

exactly...he says dont eat just bc u know u are allowed to, eat until youre full and dont exceed 500....knowing me i probably will be around 400-500 tho

Eating all those eggs will be boring. Can't you add in some sliced turkey breast? Your cholesterol will go through the roof if you start eating 12 eggs a day.

What is the maximum safe egg consumption? There appears to be conflicting studies on whether eggs increase cholestoral.

I would fart too much on 12, but is 4 whole eggs OK?

I guess it all depends on your body and everything else you eat. My doc says eating eggs won't increase my cholesterol, but if you eat other foods that have cholesterol in them, then it will raise. I usually eat one or two whole eggs and a bunch of egg whites.

eggs do not increase cholesterol.

the palumbo diet is very effective and is simply a lyle mcdonald ckd.

marathon runners? thats cool, we are talking about trying to achieve the leanest most muscular body we can, not the scrawniest, skinny fat body possible. try and compare people with similar interests/sports. no one cares about a disgusting marathon runners body.

I think you missed the point - I was trying to suggest that they carb load across a series of meals in order to ensure that the carbs are transported to the muscles. I was suggesting that 500 grams of carbs in one meal may not achieve this.

The use of marathon runners as an example is only because they are one group of people who carb load. I'm not sure if it is relevant that my example was based on "disgusting marathon runners body".

the carb load is done specifically for bodybuilders. no bbers want that look. if they do they are marathon runners. not being a prick here, i mean it with no malice to you. i think a runners body is their goal and that is cool but they look gross and i would expect them to say bbers look gross cause its not their thing. this diet by dave (who if you are unaware is extremely intelligent and knows the science behind this material, not the notions) is designed to cause a cascade of effects by eating in this manner. spreading it over many meals is against the ckd science for the most part. body opus recommended a 48 hour carb load but dave's is not. it serves a different purpose.

runners carb load for a different reason (my point) to have a specific purpose. bber's do it for very different reasons. i understand the theory of carb loading over the day, i carb cycle daily/year round so i understand what you meant.

knowing why he recommends that is the thing. you can do a google for the whole thing. its good if you like ckd and do alot of drugs.

OK - I will read into it out of curiosity (also, I was thinking of Arnold Swazneggers Bodybuilding Enclopadia where (on this occasion increasing carbs just before competition) he advocates spreading it over several meals in order to ensure that the carbs are transported into the muscles

500 carb cheat meal? that likes eating 70 oz. of cheesecake. also, i would never use a diet that someone on that amount of HGH/steroids uses, simply because it wont work the same for someone who is natural.

"moderate egg intake should not be rigorously restricted in healthy individuals."

Obese people, diabetics and people with existing cholesterol problems may have to restrict their dietary cholesterol. Otherwise the way you are doing it is ideal.

what dave is or is not on doesnt matter, this is called the palumbo diet bc it is what he recommends, he trained my friend for a show in 2003 and he ended up looking fantastic and had no hunger cravings on this diet, so i figured id try it and wanted opinions....5 days in and so far so good, strength has gone UP!, looking tighter, and best of all im not craving carbs at all

That forcefeeding/GH gut that Palumbo had might have been from those 500 gram carb meals...... lol .... he looked like a ninja turtle a lil bit
