I've got 19inch guns of steel. I read that Arnie had 21inch guns and Hulk Hogan.

Sergio's arms where way over 20 inch

some French magazine claimed he peaked at 23 (twenty three) inch. I saw the pic, they sure where bigger then 21.

Let's not forget that Larry Scott when he made his come back had 19 inch arms, at least that was his claim.

Or was that when he was know where near his best size?
How tall was he?
I always liked his training method (mostly) and he looked big.

I met Nasser about 5-6 years ago in OZ(guest appearance), yes he was packing also, but Jones may have said he had 18" arms LOL.

I saw him between '93 and '97 at the gym... not when he was at his prime. He looked like sh-t... was a trainer... and all his clients looked like sh-t. He was definitely not the poster child for HIT.

The difference here is a shredded 19 inch arm looks WAY bigger than a fat 19 inch arm....Hell, for thay matter a shredded 16 inch arm looks better than a fat 19 inch arm....So when these guys were sporting there guns on stage they LOOKED like 20-22 inch guns...Bodybuilding is about creating an illusion and all the guys that we have mentioned were masters at that....

Cold my arms measure 18"R & 18"1/4L. Everyone thinks they are more like 20". Its all in the effect the whole presentation gives, how the arms balance with the rest of the body. Remember Manfred Heubel, the Austrian who claimed 26" arms and cold do barbell curls with 405lbs?

actually arnolds arms measured at 19 3/4 according to aurthor and sergio said in a interview some years later that the measurements were accurate at the time(his measured at 20.5).

the magazines claimed his arms were 22 inches and he said they were never that big, and sergio had bigger arms than arnold.

Lets not forget how much bigger an inch on your arms and lower bodyfat can make you arms look. Mine are just about 19 inches now, that 3/4 of an inch and 3% bodyfat difference arnold probaly had on me would make his arms look not 3/4 of an inch bigger but maybe 2.

That was probally done when they were in peak condition 6-7% bodyfat. Compare that to the pros of today with 22 inch arms at 4% and you can see how the standards have changed.
