Tricep pain from Dlifts?

Strange, today my triceps have slowly gotten more sore as the day has gone by. I didn't do tricep work, and the only thing I can think of that would use triceps in our workout yesterday would be deadlifts. Has anybody gotten sore triceps from pulling max?
 
Tri's could be sore from training them the day before deadlifting. DOMS is sometimes weird and takes time to kick in
 
The function of the tricep is to extend the elbow. When pulling a deadlift, the elbow should already be fully extended. I agree with CytoMel.

Yep..you are sore from Sundays workout. We did a shit load of extensions. Whatever it is...git rid of it be Wednesday...got PR's to set.
 
I have had sore triceps from doing deadlifts before...I would grip the bar so tight that I would be tightening my triceps super hard when I pulled. Remember to try and stay relaxed.

Mine were a little sore yesterday...but thats because I went back out Sunday night and did Rack Lockouts. Some more band pushdowns and I will be good to go for tomorrow.

Epimetheus....take some bands home with you next time. AR Work will do wonders.
