Omg! Has anyone tried these yet? I just tried one of the oatmeal raisin cookies...bought at health club and they state good source of protein.

Tell me what you think:

Calories: 139
Calories from fat: 27
Total Fat: 3g
Sat fat: 1g
Trans fat: 0
Cholesterol: 20mg
Sodium: 150mg
Total Carbs: 17g
Dietary Fiber: 2g
Sugars: 11g
Protein: 11g
Vit.A: 2%
Calcium: 10%
Iron: 6%

I hope they are not to bad for you. I may only eat 1 of them a day and these stats are for only 1 cookie......comes with 2 in pack. I figured eating both of them may be to many carbs for me.
Who would of thought these would be so damn yummy....that is why there must be something wrong with them.

:p

Just like protein bars, I'm not a big fan of "protein stuff" when the calories could be coming from real food, however they won't kill you. Probably the biggest issue is can you really eat just one ??

Although i am a big fan of whey protein i tend to look at things diffrently now and compare say whats in that cookie to what i could have in replacment that would fill me or give me more protein with the ratio to cals. But if your a choc-aholic and need something like that in your day 1 would be fine i guess.

garbage...i would rather have a protein bar if im truly pressed for a meal. I would especially avoid if you are cutting

????

As i said above i would persoanlly look for something to replace the cookie ie tuna/whey which would benefit one way or the other with tuna haveing good protein source but would also fill you up or if you are just after the protein and are pressed for time whey would be suffice.

I was really surprised just how good they were...they didn't look so good. But 1 is just enough. I wouldn't eat them often but just wanted to let everyone else know about them if they weren't to terribly bad for your diet. Sweets are not my weakness...mine is pizza & chips and dip...yummy :p
But doing good staying away from that.......I may indulge once a week with the girls at work and in moderation.

Sassy I just want to say that you always answer my questions and your one of the ones I like to get advice from....you are always consistent with your answers to everyone.
I hope I don't offend anyone else because everyone has been so nice to talk to.

Thanks!
