Depends on your goals and the person you ask. In my opinion, cardio first thing in the morning while cutting can produce good results. However some will disagree and say it is too catabolic etc. Doing cardio after training is similar in that you are more glycogen depleted after lifting.. if it works for you go with it. trial and error.
If you are trying to bulk/gain size I would absolutely avoid training anything on an empty stomach.
i have done both be4 and my work outs are about the same for some reason .i train really hard .i do notice a cutting benifit when training on a empty stomach .i just havent had time to eat in the am and then go train .i do drink a carb drink as i am working out to have some quik carbs in my system. i will just get up earlyer and eat then train as i would like to put on some mass again .thanks again for all your imput "K" for all
am cardio is great! i would stay away from doing extended cardio though on an empty stomach...no more then 20-25 minutes.
am lifting...eeehh...never been a big fan. i'm at work at 7am so in order for me to get a shake in pre workout....lift and then shower and get to work i have to wake up at like 4:30....not a fan...way too early for this guy.
I have never believed in "running on empty"
I need energy after not eating from the night b4. I need fuel to do anything. Ok if u are used to it, but I really think the body needs fuel for max. effect. The more fuel u have, the more power you can extend!
