I don't give a shit how many they won in a row. It was only a matter of time before the Chiefs got exposed for their pathetic defense especially against the run. The Pats little dinky pass plays will only get them so far.

Check the box score bro. 96 yards on 27 attempts. Titans had 84 yards on 26 attempts. Titans had 200 yards passing, NE had 201 yards passing.

What the Pats are good at is controlling the football game and avoiding mistakes and just playing smart.

Example: on the pass that Drew Bennett dropped, almost any other cornerback would have interfered. Did you notice how the DB consciously did not touch Drew Bennett? Cos if he had interfered, automatic first down at the spot of the foul. IF he doesn't interfere, worst case scenario is first down right where he caught it, but there's still a chance he drops it.

That's the kind of thinking that Belichik can instill into his players, and that's the kind of thing that is going to get the Pats the ring this year.

These are things that all teams should do to not shoot themselves in the foot. If you think this is enough to win a Superbowl then so be it.

You'd be surprised how many teams shoot themselves in the foot.

In the Super Bowl, you are going to see some dumb mistakes. The team that makes the least mistakes, wins.

Look at the Packers game--shitty blitz scemes allowing #5 to run wild, going for it on 4th and goal, Farve's last-ditch heave.

Change any one of those things and the Pack win. Change all three and it's a blow out.

Carolina plays like a notch down version of green bay, except they don't have Ahman Green or Brett Favre. Although Steve smith is good, I just don't think Delhomme will pick up blitzes as well as Favre. Carolina's strength is the pass rush, but if the eagles can survive 8 sacks by GB they most definitely should handle the Bobcats.

One thing the Packers fucked up on is challenging Philly to stop Ahman Green. Instead they challenged Brett Farve to have another game of his life. Plus they couldn't handle McNabb's mobility.

I can guarantee you the Panthers will not make either mistake. I think they will play the Eagles tougher.

Patriots and Panthers in the Superbowl.

I think Manning will come back to earth against the Pats and Carolina can stop the run and the Eagles really can't.
 
I am going with defense with the Pats and Red Hot Colts. So I am taking the Pats, because we have seen the last few years...good defense beats good offense.

I am having trouble with the Eagles and Carolina. The OL and DL for the Panthers may be better. But not many wildcard teams have made it to the SuperBowl. In fact the Ravens may have been the first wildcard team to advance to the bowl.

FOR NOW

I am going Pats and Eagles with Pats winning the BOwl for the 2nd time in 3 years. I reserve the right to change my mind on the Eagles game...afterall they are famous for choking in the Conference Title Game.

Rush was right.... although he should have kept it to himself. What if McNabb had consecutive games like Manning? The media would be calling him the future of quarterbacking... the savior of the league... etc. The media does tend to go ga ga for black quarterbacks. I think McNabb is a nice QB, but until he is an over 60% passer, he is average at best.

Make that 4 years. Skins and Gaints will not be ready for another few years and the Cowboys will not make it this year. The Eagles by far have the best team in the NFC east.
