flexgel, you remind me of girls aged 25 to 30 that havent been married. All they want to do is get married and have kids. I can smell the despartation on them. At first it is nice to get attention from them. But, it soon becomes obivious they don't really love me or whatever. They just think my face would look good in a wedding pic, so they can move their ass into my house. I know how the chicks you talk to must feel like. They can just tell you just want a good looking chick! I know this sounds gieh. But, I want a girl to love me want to marry me. Not just get married. I guess I want to feel special.

What you guys are telling me is that there is no chance in hell that I am going to be able to hook up with any worthwhile girl, if I am as desperate about this as I am.

Right now I need to get myself to be less focused on girls. To only think about this subject as much as it deserves to be thought about (way less than what I am doing)

What I dont get is how one can eventually find a woman, if they arent allowed to think about women very much. It would seem like the more you are allowed to think about women, the quicker you would fine one.

I guess this whole thing is a lot more counterintuitive than I would expect. In order to have a chance at getting a woman, you guys are saying that I need to think about women less.

Its kind of freaky, because by not thinking about women as much, I feel like as if I will have less of a chance of finding one.
But ironically I have more of a chance, because I'm not as desperate or as focused on it.

But its still scary to think about the fact that I might not get a woman, regardless of what I do or dont do.

No, we are telling you to just date and have fun and not worry about finding a worthwhile woman yet. Just have a good time, and build up your confidence by just dating girls that are "ok", not "great". Play the numbers game. And since they are just average girls, who cares if you mess up? You can just get another one. In the mean timeyou are learning skills about dealing with girls, dating and building up your confidence.

lol this is awesome. i was just thinking about how much he's written on EF, and how little he's actually tried to do.

fyxgel2, just to clarify (i hate to see an alter confused): whether you spend all day thinking about girls, or not at all, you still have to do two things if you want to go out with girls...one, actually ask some of them out...and two, come across as nice and normal (or sane, at the very least).

i suppose that most of the advice you've received thus far is in accord with those two 'tasks', even if it may not seem like it in some instances.
