To all you people who think low reps heavy weight is the way to go!!

Its not depending on how you grow it might be!! But i am living proof that high reps work works ok so on sept. 9th i was in the weight room at skool and we had to max out to find what we repd! well i maxed out at 205 and was reping 155 six times.

now it is oct. 9th and i maxed today i maxed out at 240 and i rep 175 six times!

ok now in two weeks i am hoping to rep 185 6 times and max at 250!!

by the way im 15 i weigh 140!! just thought id let you know!!

congrats on your gains but you just defeated your whole point with this last statment i quoted.

your new, and getting beginner gains. i think a newbie will make gains just racking and unracking others weight.

when you have been weight training for a long time. repping out weight is not the best way to put up the big numbers. otherwise wsb and mm would be doing reps instead of 1 rep maxes.

just pointing that out, but keep up with your progress.

im realy not a big newbie i have been lifting for about a year!! i never really got into the whole powerlifitng i was always self concious about putting inches on my waist then i just said screw it and im getting to 300 by next summer so i just started eating like a horse!!

and what were the ums about??
 
you plan to weight 300lbs by next summer? my god you will look awful with tons of stretch marks if that were even possible. right now I think shooting for 175-180 by next summer is reasonable

yes your a newbie............ a newbie in every essence of the word.

1 year training is nothing, being 15 years old is nothing. 15 year olds are notorious for thinking they know everything, and a 15 year old who thinks that 1 year worth of training on a high school level is not a newbie......... has got a lot to learn.

i really dont hope your trying to tell the folks on here from ages 20-40 that your way as a 15 year old high school student is better than what we have been doing for over 10 years...........

not trying to be rude, but you came across as a no-it-all smart butt...........

thats why all the ummmmmmmss....................
