Timed Meals??

Hello,

Upon purchasing "Power Eating" 2nd edition recommended by a friend, I must say it was exactly the base knowledge I was looking for.

The book references "Timed Meals" to increase thermogenesis and mental performance among other things..

I need to loose a good amount of body fat around my mid section. This is because for carelessly using "weight gainer" powders for mass.

The book instructs:

Fluids: 8-12 glassed a day - (no problem, I drink lots of water and oj.)

Breakfast: (I never skip, consists of a toasted bagel/country crock spread, tea, skim milk, honey nut cheerios or banana)

Meals: small, frequent protein/carbohydrate meals and snacks every 2 to 3 hours??????? :worried:

My confusion is "Meals". Can someone reference a resource that will help me to figure out what "Meals"/Snacks that have protien/carbs should be?
