I've been here in GA for two years now, originally from WA. I didn't read the article but deeming the entire South as the worst place to live? Pretty ridiculous. It's not so bad here around Atlanta.

Other than TX, everything south of the Mason Dixon is a disgusting shithole.

Oh, BS, my son has lived in Texas for eight years, it's the biggest toilet of them all and he's the first to tell you so. The only place even vaguely worth anything in his opinion is Austin.

Virginia and the Carolinas are beautiful states. Sometimes the reason the income in regions is low is because there aren't local opportunities for work the land is protected and can't be developed.

Ha yeah I'm about an hour north though, everybody drives a leaf where I'm at. Idk man the country out here is really nice. A lot of hard working people and successful businesses. Surprisingly.

Not to mention the gym I go to is nice af. So. After two years GA has taken me by surprise. Besides Ft Benning (Columbus). That place really is a shit hole.
