The Washington Post has declared the South the worst place to live in the U.S.

Lol no kidding wtf is wrong with this country?!?

The states were judged based off criteria that won't matter to everyone. (one of them was how "politically engaged" a state was lol wut)

I don't live in a Southern state but imo if you are retiring or don't care about the fastest internet then the south is still a nice place to live. The only thing that mattered on that list was crime and water/air quality and the top states low in crime don't have large metros or urban areas..so I mean, okay...

The air/water quality is an issue to consider though for sure. Missouri has terrible air quality. No one knows what an ozone alert is in Colorado.

Still not sure why they said the south did so terrible. Missouri and the midwest according to that criteria is also a shitty place to live even though they said the midwest faired fairly well, the scores for the states are low, but we all know the midwest/heartland is a nice place to live despite the coast sociopaths who burned all their bridges "back home" calling it flyover country. lolo

wtf cares about how politically engaged a state is? HTF is this criteria on a place to LIVE and not like, friendliness of the people in general or something? The South is known for its hospitality.

I have no idea what an ozone alert is.
