in men the belly is usually the last place excess fat is stored. so this is normal. only way to get rid of that is to lose more fat. you can do the ab machine all you want and its not gonna make a difference.

No, you can't spot reduce, but you can build the muscles in the abdominal wall and it's the lower ones that are harder to train, therefore, they droop and the fat excentuates the "pooch." Working lower abs is a must and most ab machines don't hit them.
