What is the "right" footwear to train in? Gonna be making a purchase soon and need someone with expertise to point me in the right direction...

What do you recommend? What reasons back up your recommendation?

Thanks in advance...

Chucks for lower body work and Nike frees or sparq trainers for everything else.

Those nikes that 24 posted look sick.

I wear Otomix for everything except overhead days. Then I wear DoWin's. The Otomix are a great cross between a wrestling shoe and Chuck's. The DoWims have a wood heel wedge thazt is designed for pressing and Oly lifts.

I now wear my chucks on ohp day. I pressed in trainers last week and lost my balance backwards while lowering the bar. Luckily it was a warm up set with 135. If it was a limit set I could have jacked my back up big time. Solid soles are very important.
