Old Mexico - give that one a shot. I promise you that you will be ... very disappointed. It is like rubbing alcohol with no attempt at all to try to make it look or smell like tequila, aside from a vaguely offensive label.

I think it is even bottled in NY to add insult to injury.

1800 Reposado is good, and decent price. best i've had for the money, $24 a bottle.

the 1800 Anejo is supposed to be good as hell, but runs about $45-50 a bottle.

if you're gonna go cabo, i'd say go for the reposado. in general, reposados are alot smoother/better tasting than blanco. the anejo would be best, but i believe it runs $80-90 a bottle.
