You guys here really motivate me a lot.
Decided to change things up a bit tonight. You'll see below ...
Flat bench. (Someone had the incline bench.)
warmups: 135, 185, 195, 225
working: 245 for 7, 255 for 3.
Had no idea I'd be able to hit 7 reps on 245. I thought I'd fail on 4.
Seated military.
warmups: 135, 155
working: 185 for 5, 165 for 6.
Benching sure does take it out of you ...
Dips.
warmups: bodyweight, BW +45
working: +100 for 11. PR! +110 for 7. PR!!
Barbell rows.
warmups: 135, 155, 165, 185
working: 205 for 7. PR!
The last couple werent perfect form, but I managed to pull them up!
Chins:
warmups: 2 sets, BW
working: +35 for 9. I think that's a PR!
As you see, it was DC style, but just heavy straight sets, no negatives. No rest pauses. I wanted to change it up a little. The negatives had me a tad bored. I'll go back to that though this Friday.
