Medical, read this article. All the places I named are listed.
You'll find that any spot in DC is not mentioned

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2004-02-19-traffic-bottlenecks_x.htm
My family is from Houston and my sister and many aunts and uncles and cousins live there now. I drive (or ride more often) there at least twice a year. We (my family and I) debate this every year when the USA Today/Time Etc reports come out on the worst places to drive in the US. I just got back from Chicago and yes it is bad. Houston is bad. But there is no place worse than NOVA/DC in my experienced opinion. The thing is it is the most UNPREDICTABLE place to drive I have ever experienced. You will see my friend, you will see.

I have to admit that I95 up there has some good congestion. I was heading south and drove all the way to Richmod, VA and there was alot of traffic all the way there (7:00pm Weekday)

I66 has some traffic also. I was thinking about renting a place in Centerville,VA but everyone seemingly was doing that as I drove through the 5:00pm traffic in VA

Yes , I will have to experience it on the day to day
